the best way of breaking up with your girlfriend
When it's over, how
do you break up with your girlfriend?
Well, you have to
first decide whether you care about your soon-to-be
ex-girlfriend or if you could care less about her. Then you can
decides whether you are going to be a stand-up guy, or a dick.
I would always
advocate ending a relationship just as you would quit a job -
try not to burn any bridges.
Maybe your
ex-girlfriend cheated on you or lied to you over and over and
over. Still, if it's over, why take revenge? Instead, be a
stand-up guy. Just tell her face-to-face that it's over and wish
her the best.
Why?
I say you never know
what the future will bring. Maybe it was time for it to be over
between you and your ex anyway. Maybe she respects you for the
way you handled the break-up. Maybe she even hooks you up or
gives you a good reference with another girl.
You just never know.
Of course you could
be a dick and destroy everything of your ex-girlfriends that you
can get your hands on, or you could call her and leave numerous
nasty messages on her cell phone.
Or if you're a wimp
you could text message your ex-girlfriend, but are you really
that much of a wimp?
Even better you
could just stop acknowledging her and avoid her calls, never
return her messages, and refuse to answer the door when she
comes over.
